Vino Tapadera Manufacturing Inc. is owned and operated by sisters Lana Marceca and Lara Stokes. It was founded in 2009 after many years of experimenting with prototypes. We finally have manufactured a product that helps keep bugs out of our families drinks and wanted to share it with everyone!

Lara Stokes is a mother of 3 who resides in Alberta with her husband. She was the one who came up with the idea and made our first prototype. It was made from left over screen from a door and fishing weights on the edges to keep the Tapadera on the glass. Lara is also manufacturing these by hand to this day. This was an ingenious idea and it was also the start to a very exciting family run business.

Lana Marceca is a mother of 2 who resides in Saskatchewan with her husband and she is the manager of the business. Lana is president of her own accounting business and takes care of all the marketing and sales for Vino Tapadera Manufacturing Inc. including packaging, shipping, website design and much more.

Merla Bush, our mother who resides in Arizona with her husband, retired in 2009 and decided she wanted to help out with the manufacturing process. She has been busy producing our Tapaderas by hand. She purchases our raw inventory and then spends countless hours hand crafting Tapaderas for your enjoyment. Without mom, we just wouldn’t have the inventory to share with you all today!

Dawn Barclay, who is also our sister, is a mother of 2 and resides in Alberta with her husband. She is marketing our Tapaderas in her area as well as taking care of all our trade shows. Dawn has a background in sales and is well suited for the task of marketing our Vino Tapaderas.

As you can see this is a very family oriented business which has proven to be a wonderful opportunity for us all. We not only have fun purchasing and manufacturing, but we also have the privilege of sharing them with all of you. We hope you enjoy our product as much as we have over the years!
